CELEBRITY STEAK-OUT
2020 Updates
Hello friends,
I want to take a few minutes of your time today to explain our plan for Celebrity Steak-Out 2020. For those that are unfamiliar with Steak-Out: it’s a fun-filled evening we’ve created with incredible partners, filled with amazing food and wine, entertainment, and fundraising to support groundbreaking cancer research at Fred Hutch. Since 2010, we have raised nearly $1.7 million.
This year Steak-Out, as we have known it, will unfortunately look drastically different. While we can’t gather as in years past to celebrate and support Fred Hutch and the lives they impact, we can still make a difference in our community. Join us this year as we raise crucial funds for cancer and COVID-19 research at Fred Hutch. This year’s funds will be raised in part for the next cure for cancer and the cure for COVID-19
HERE ARE THREE WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

- Order a dinner and have your own “STEAK-IN.” Chef John Howie has prepared two amazing meal options for you to choose from. Order your meal, pick up the ingredients from John Howie’s Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar, then prepare your dinner on August 18th as we all celebrate together (socially distanced) from our own homes. 20% from all meals purchased will be donated back to Fred Hutch.
- Buy a Cadillac at either Brotherton location (Renton or Shoreline) and we will donate $100 from every car sold. We have some great prizes for donors who participate in this program, including John Howie gift certificates, a KJ Wright signed football, and a KJ Wright signed jersey.
I am so proud of this event and know that with your support we can continue to make Celebrity Steak-Out the most-loved event in the area that’s making a difference in the lives of those in our community affected by cancer.
